- Manufacturer or builder defects,
- Sedimentary build-up (except water heaters), or
- Pest or pet damage.
Can the company deny repair or replacement?

The company can deny repair or replacement if the device is not covered by your warranty plan. In some cases, the company may offer cash in lieu of repair or replacement. You can expect to receive a payment within 30 days from the date of determination. If the company provides cash in lieu of repair or replacement, that appliance or home system will not be covered for future malfunctions until you fix it and confirm the same.
When will my contract term begin?

Your OneGuard Home Warranty contract term begins 10 days after the company accepts the application and receipt of the plan fee. The plan continues for 1 year.
